We really wanted to play on the raven to create an iconic mascot that was cool, edgy and memorable. Combining a sombrero, traditional Mexican wear and tapping into the ‘Dias de los Muertos’ or Day of the Dead style skulls that are rooted in Mexican heritage along with the little flecks of red that show passion and spirit, we really found a winner.
